Massive D News!

So we will start this blog with some massive news and if it works in our favour it will be the biggest thing to happen with D yet!

On July 2nd we are attending the Super Touring car event at Brands Hatch race track, this looks like it will be a fantastic event with an amazing lineup of touring cars and drivers, we have managed to contact one of the drivers, and if we can find him he will come and have some pics taken with D, now this is a special driver to us, its none other than STEVE SOPER, the man who used to race the Eggenberger Texaco liveried Sierra RS500 in the 1988 BTCC series.

It would be massive for us to get pics of him with D and a dream come true, so watch this space…

In other news, last Sunday we attended the Father’s Day Motorfest at Chelmsford, a bit of a last-minute thing for us but it was well worth it with lots of amazing show cars present, the video of the day can be found on our YouTube, we also had another interview by the official videographer for the day, so we are excited to see if this made it into the final edit, we will share this video if we are featured.

Another last-minute decision for us was to attend the FLASHCARS AT THE BARN meet this coming Sunday, we have been accepted into the main arena display, so keep your eyes open for us, we are also hoping to do a film of the day to share on our YouTube, hopefully, if we get time we may be able to try some of our new video techs out.

We have also been carrying out a few little maintenance jobs on D over the last couple of weeks, finally getting around to installing the intercom and headsets and also carrying out a minor modification to how our wing is mounted, this is definitely an improvement and helps with the rigidity.
