Flashing the D!
So another weekend and another car show meet for us, this time at FLASHCARS AT THE BARN, a local meet but still had a good turnout.
The weather was sweltering which made it hard to give D the final detailer wipe-over when we got there, even at 09:30 the spray was drying as soon as it hit the bodywork.
Still, we managed to make it shine for a while, the dusty dirt track entrance to the meet did its best to dull the shine though.
Once again we gave out some of our new website cards and told the story of Project D to whoever would listen, getting some wonderful feedback as always, thank you FLASHCARS UK for having us. Our video from this event is now live.
Other things going on this week include hopefully recording a radio interview to be aired at a later date, and more show prep for this weekend, but it doesn’t stop there, we also have two prom runs the week after and something else planned after those, but we can’t reveal that yet.
This weekend will see us attending our biggest show of the year yet, Super Touring Power, Project D will be on display here on the BTCC styling group stand, make sure to come and say ‘hi’ if you are attending this event, at some point we hope to be able to attract the attention of former RS500 texaco driver Steve Soper and get some pics of him with our car, if we can pull this off it will be amazing.
Hopefully, we will be able to do a video of this event too, we actually got around to trying one of our new cameras this weekend but didn’t get the footage that we were hoping to due to slow-speed memory cards, so new cards are on order to see if we can rectify this, stay tuned to see if we are finally successful…
