D gets Motolicious

So we just got back from another great show, this time it was the Motorlicious charity event down at Cranleigh showground. This was held in aid of an excellent cause, the Chestnut Tree Children’s Hospice, giving end-of-life care to children and supporting their families.

As usual, we arrived early, actually being the first show car there, we were invited by auto anonymous and had planned to appear on their stand, but on arrival, the show organiser informed us that he was aware of our story and upgraded us to the “Circle of Power”. Our show video will be dropping to our YouTube this week so keep your eyes peeled to see the company that we were keeping.

Once again we were interviewed during the show and got to tell the fabulous story of Project D to whoever would listen, massive thank you to Jeremy, the organizer of the show for doing this for us.

We got to speak to many other car enthusiasts there, all of them willing to listen to how Project D came to life, and we gave out lots of our cards hopefully sending them to this website, so if you made it here from a card we thank you.

It was a good and well ran show, with a wide variety of cars on display, we will definitely be putting next year’s show date on our calendar as we would love to return to it and see who else we can drag down with us, maybe we can get DOUBLECLUTCH UK to have a club stand there, watch this space…

On a final note, as a last-minute impulse thing we have just booked ourselves in for the Father’s Day Motor Fest at Chelmsford, we will be joining the Ford Group UK Club stand there, come and find us and say hi, stay tuned for our next blog in around a weeks time…
